Polson, Montana: Summer 1997

I spent portions of three wonderful summers in Polson, Montana in 1994, 1996, and 1997; I wrote Death March here during the summer of '96. You can see two other commentaries on Polson in the "Road Warrior" section of my site, entitled "The Polson Parade," and "Leaving Montana." This is a selection of pictures taken at the beginning and end of the summer in 1997, mostly of the scenery around the surrounding Flathead Lake, and the Flathead River that runs out of the south end of the lake, through the Kerr Dam, and on to Missoula and beyond.
